From the Principal Desk

I would like to remind you of the words of the architect of India “The destiny of India is shaped in her schools.” While I was pondering about present day education and value system, I thought of sharing some views with you. Our country, in the present times is in the grip of terrorism, poverty and religious quarrel. The children of today watch the impact of this news. How do we handle them? It is our responsibility and duty to prepare the children as dutiful and honest citizens, train them with right values, morals and leadership qualities to face challenges and crisis to make quick and correct decisions. They should live in a free peaceful country without man made or natural threats.

 This can be achieved by making ourselves (parents and teachers) as a role model. We must not only take pride in the rich cultural heritage but also try to goal.

      I would like to end with the following lines:

             “Where the mind is without fear and head is held high;

               Where knowledge is free;

               Where the world is not broken up

               Into fragments by narrow domestic walls

               Where the mind is led forward by thee into that heaven of freedom,

               My father let my country awake.”

                                                                                                            S. P. Thakur

                                                                                                            (Principal)
